TATRA STB-402 SPORT is a semi-automatic shotgun offering a perfectly balanced solution for shooters and competitors of all skill levels. This tuned model was developed based on the STB-402 PERFORMANCE model in collaboration with Polish sporter Tomasz Cierpica.
Our vision was to produce a shotgun in which every detail of the STB-402 SPORT would be meticulously considered at every design stage, repeatedly discussed, and subjected to extensive testing. Thus, offering a product that meets the dynamic requirements of shooters at a high quality and affordable price in Europe.
The TATRA STB-402 SPORT boasts numerous features, including proper operation with low-weight ammunition, minimized barrel recoil after firing, a milled receiver with a pre-modified loading port for faster reloading, a “breakaway” cartridge retainer that reduces resistance when loading ammunition, a specially designed bolt release button for quick magazine release, the ability to mount the charging handle on both sides, a lightweight bolt made of a special alloy, a barrel with a unique inner diameter that ensures accuracy and precision, a large-capacity magazine, a stock with a highly shock-absorbing buttplate, and an accessory Picatinny rail on the receiver, allowing for competition even in the MODIFIED class.
The barrel is made of drilled AISI 4140 steel and chrome-plated on the inside. Manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, it features the fleur-de-lis symbol: suitable for steel shot. The use of the highest quality materials and the innovative QPQ process – both in the barrels and chokes, similar to rifled guns – significantly increases resistance to wear and corrosion, ensuring years of reliability.
The receiver is crafted from 7075-T6 ALU and machined with the highest precision on CNC machines, ensures lightness and exceptional durability even under the harshest pressure and operating conditions.
