TATRA STB-405 GOLD is the most exclusive semi-auto smoothbore hunting shotgun model of the TATRA, equipped with a rotating bolt and a reliable inertia-operated system.
The STB-405 GOLD model features an luxury finish, including 24-karat gold engraving on the receiver, a gold-plated trigger, and an aluminum trigger guard. The stock and forend are crafted from selected, high-quality Turkish walnut sourced from southeastern Türkiye, providing exceptional aesthetics and excellent ergonomics. The inertia-operated working system, unlike gas-operated systems, significantly reduces cleaning frequency while increasing the shotgun’s reliability and durability during intensive use.
The shotgun features a 71cm (28″) barrel with internal, interchangeable chokes, making it an optimal solution for game hunting throughout Europe. The barrel made of drilled AISI 4140 steel is manufactured using Back-Bored technology, features the symbol Fleur-de-Lys: suits for also steel shot. The precisely machined bore ensures even shot placement, guaranteeing excellent shot coverage and high shot accuracy. The use of the modern QPQ process – both in the barrels and chokes – significantly increases resistance to wear and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
The receiver is made of durable 7075-T6 ALU and machined with the highest precision on CNC machines. This ensures an optimal combination of low weight and exceptional resistance to mechanical pressure of heavy loads. Additionally, the receiver is milled for the installation of a red dot sight.
The TATRA STB-405 GOLD is fully compatible with steel shot ammunition, in accordance with current modern hunting and operational standards.
